House Rules

First and foremost we want you to enjoy your stay!

Thank you for staying at Mulberry House. Our main rule is to enjoy your stay and be sweet to our neighbors! General Rules Two parking spots are available in the driveway. Two additional spots are available on the street in front of the house. Please leave space for our neighbors to park in front of their houses and do not block any driveway. Please Sign the Guest Book! we love knowing where you are from, why you are here, and how you are enjoying your stay! No smoking and no pets at this home. Thanks for understanding. Neighborhood and Noise Level The majority of our neighbors live here full time, please minimize noise in the evening hours so our neighbors can enjoy a night of undisturbed sleep. Per the City of Fredericksburg ordinance, quiet hours are 10 pm-7 am. The City of Fredericksburg is a Dark Sky Community with outdoor lighting restrictions. All outdoor lighting is encouraged to be turned off when no one is present to use the light. Extra Guests and Visitors A maximum of 3 visitors are allowed during the day. Any extra overnight visitors must be approved in advance and will have to pay an extra fee as set in our rates. Maximum Occupancy of Property is 6 persons in accordance with Fredericksburg Short Term Rental Ordinances. Parties or events are not allowed. Any small gathering is restricted to 9 people in total and must comply with the rules regarding noise. Safety This home uses natural gas for the oven, please familiarize yourself with the use of gas burners. Be diligent about ensuring all burners are off when finished cooking. Carbon Monoxide and Natural Gas detectors are installed around major appliances for your safety. Safety Please report any damages, breakages or malfunctioning equipment immediately so that we can repair or replace them. Please refrain from moving furniture from one room to another to avoid any damages or breakages. The cost of any damages or breakages caused by negligence may be deducted from your security deposit. Child Safety Our home is not suitable for children under the age of 10. Parents must not leave children unsupervised and are fully responsible for their safety at all times. Hot Tub Please help us keep the hot tub clean, safe, and enjoyable for all by following these simple rules: Shower before using – This helps keep the water clean. No glass in or near the hot tub – Use plastic cups only. Do not add soaps, oils, or bubbles – These damage the system. Close the lid when not in use – This keeps the heat in and debris out. No children without adult supervision – Safety first! Please do not sit or stand on the cover – It can break easily. If it’s not working properly, let us know – We’ll take care of it! Thank You!
